What is Mobile Windshield Repair?
We provide a mobile service to repair your damaged windshield. We come to your location and do the repair on site. The repairs are done by injecting resin into the break and then utilizing a power vac system designed by the Glass Mechanix System.
What is windshield repair?
All types of vehicles, no matter the make or cost, all have one thing in common, glass windshields. These windshields can become easily damaged by flying rocks and other road debris, resulting in stone chips, bullseyes or cracks. If this damage is left un-repaired, further damage is possible, creating a dangerous, unsightly mess to your windshield. Driving with the heater or air conditioning on can further extend the damage by causing radically different temperatures inside and outside of the windshield. Engineers call this temperature stress "Thermal Shock". Thermal Shock is the term used to describe these extreme temperature changes. The small stone chips or 'Dings' that occur from road debris can enlarge due to the thermal shock syndomr. This phenomenon is called "growth food" for the dings as they enlarge. Any type of damage to your windshield should be repaired as soon as possible to prevent costly replacement of your windshield.
