Green Bay, which was founded in 1701 and incorporated in 1854, is located in the center of the state, on the north edge. It has an estimated population of 96, 466 people and an approximate size of 43.8 square miles. The economy is primarily made up of wholesale and retail trade, services and manufacturing. It is home to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, St. Norbert College and North Eastern Wisconsin Technical College.
