|Buffalo, which was established in 1803 and incorporated in 1832, is located on the west edge of New York. It has an estimated population of 328, 123 people and an approximate size of 40.6 square miles. Manufacturing, services, wholesale and retail trade, research and tourism make up its’ economy. Buffalo is home to many educational institutions such as the University of Buffalo and Buffalo State College.
