Davenport, which was founded in 1808 and incorporated in 1836, is located on the East edge of the state, East of Cedar Rapids. It has an estimated population of 95, 333 people and an approximate Size of 61.4 square miles. The economy is primarily made up of trades, services, manufacturing and government. It is home to St. Ambrose University and Teikyo Marycrest University.
