Danbury, which was established in 1684 and incorporated in 1702, is located on the west side of Connecticut, south of Waterbury and North of Stamford. It has an estimated population of 65, 585 people and an approximate size of 42.1 square miles. It is known for its’ manufacturing, trade and services. It is also home to Western Connecticut State University.
