Boulder, which was established in 1859 and incorporated in 1871, is located North West of Denver. It has an estimated population of 83, 312 people and an approximate size of 22.6 square miles. The economy is primarily made up of services, manufacturing, trade and government. It is home to the University of Colorado-Boulder, Narupa Institute and the Front Range Community College.
